  1. Nice video dude. Makes me want to try one out. I have been going back and forth with tent decisions, as I am sure I will until I have the $$$ to drop on one. However, I am looking for a little lighter options for using solo. I have been eyeballing the MLD SoloMid. Also, I have a pair of those hiking poles. Great product especially for the price. Good luck with your hike man.

  4. @Stick - thanks for the support... you ought to see my 1 room apt. It is a giant fustercluck... and I am just making breakfasts right now. OMG... this is crazy time man... making drop boxes that is...

@Nate - I am using the REI stuff sack... I think it is XS size. 6 x 14? I guess they have a new one...

  6. My wife and I are curious as to what height do you set the poles? Yours looks a little taller than ours.

  7. @Terry - I set the poles to the measured height of 45". At first I set to the conversion based on Google's result of 45". This was way to short. So I ACTUALLY measured the poles with a ruler and moved them to a specific height of 45" and that works lovely. These are walmart poles, maybe that plays a role. But once I got it figured out... love it.

  8. Thank you. We have the same poles for now. Mine seem to slip on me, but my wife doesn't have a problem.
